This application is part of a thesis research project, focused on measuring the perception of places and is targeted at tourists who are visiting Amsterdam. To function properly, the application requires access to your location. The data you will be sharing:The location where you choose to report your emotions, your form answers and the pictures you take through the application are sent to a secure database. Your identity will remain anonymous at all times, because the application does not collect any identifying information (such as your name).All the data you contribute will be used for academic research purposes only. How it works:
Step 1. The first time you open the application, you are asked to fill in some information about yourself. Make sure to type in a username, which can be whatever you like. This is done just once. Step 2.* See your current location on the map. Tap the marker to display a form where you can report your emotions about that location.* When you get very close to some specific locations in Amsterdam, you get a notification on your phone. You can tap the notification to open the application to the map showing your current location and report your emotions. Step 3. Fill in some information about your emotions and the place where you are. If you are not sure how to do this, you can always check some tips in the "Help" menu.Step 4. Take a picture of the location.Step 5. See which emotions are experienced in various places in Amsterdam on a map.
